10 Fantastic Must-Know Spring Tips for Introverts

(Last Updated On: )

Spring is here!

I’m so glad, and I totally welcome this change in seasons.

I wanted to give you a few quick tips on getting into the spring spirit!

Introverts recharge during our me time, and lots of our me time is spent at home and for me, in the car.

I had no idea how much my junky car was bogging me down until I finally cleaned the thing out and vacuumed it!

It’s so important that our main Introvert recharging stations are clean and fresh so they can be effective spaces for us.

It’s not always all about spring cleaning, and you don’t always have to buy something new to change things up.

A few little tweaks here and there can make a big difference.

1 Clean makeup brushes and tools

Toss old makeup brushes, and while you’re at it, toss out old makeup and beauty products.

I use a makeup brush cleaning glove which works amazingly.

Do you collect nail polish like I have over the years?

Go ahead and toss those old polishes that are all thick and goopy, or maybe you didn’t like the color so you never used it? Yep, go ahead and toss it!

2 Change your toothbrush
3 Air out your bedroom

Bring some of this beautiful Spring air into your home!

One of my favorite Introvert recharge spaces is my bedroom.

Here’s my bedroom ritual that I do on Saturdays.

I crack my window, light a candle, turn on my fan, change the linen, and just air out my bedroom.

It makes a huge difference and just freshens it up instantly.

4 Get a new pillow for your bed
5 Do a home facial and Mani Pedi

The reason I say home facial and Mani Pedi is because I know you have products to use at home that you’ve spent your good money on.

Schedule a little introvert me time spa day!

Yep.  Pull out that exfoliant and mask before it gets too old to use and you need to toss it out.

I know you’re busy, but give your skin a Spring treat and freshen it up. Get rid of that old dead layer of skin and give it a treat.

Then polish your nails in a pretty Spring yellow, blue or pink!

6 Spruce up your home décor with a cute pillow and/or throw

You can grab a really cute pillow from $5 Below or invest in a really nice one from Williams Sonoma.  One or two little pillows can make a huge difference in your living space.

7 Switch up your favorite tea/drink of choice with spring flavors
8 Vacuum out your car

Listen, there is no judgment from me here.  Full disclosure: I hadn’t vacuumed my car for at least a full year.

I know, I know, it’s terrible!

It took me forever!  Vacuuming out all those cheerios and raisins my toddler enjoyed in the backseat, as well as a full sheet of dirt from the Michigan winter snows left me completely worn out!

BUT, it feels amazing getting into my clean car now.

9 Slowly bring spring pieces into your wardrobe

It’s a whole thing for us when we switch out our summer and winter wardrobes.

I’m not even gonna lie, it can take weeks to get everything all situated which means there’s vacuum bags of clothes sitting in our bedroom for quite a while.

So I’ve just grabbed a couple t-shirts here and there from my favorite thrift store or Target to start pulling me into spring to buy me a little time to switch things over.

10 Bring in the green

I am determined to bring plants into my home!  I’ve tried a few times, and I just can’t get the hang of caring for my plants, so I think I’m what they call a… serial plant killer!!!

But I just love the way plants look in homes, they just spruce up the look and give it a freshness I want so bad!  And I love that they help to clean the air.

I may have to suck it up and grab a faux plant until I have time to really hone in on my plant skills.

But if you’re able, grab a couple live ones for your home.

I hope I gave you a few ideas of things you can try to push you into Spring!

Tell me some of your spring favorites!
